BLOCK PRINTING 101 - INSTRUCTOR: MARS DRAKE - CANCELED
Learn how to do basic linocut printing: this class will lead you through the basics of how to draw, carve and use your own rubber block stamp! This linocut stamp can be reused on paper, fabric and more! No prerequisite art/carving knowledge required, just a love of art and crafts. Be advised that this course will use sharp instruments.

GESTURE DRAWING CLASS - INSTRUCTOR: MARS DRAKE
Description: Learn how to draw basic forms and shapes, from people to animals and objects. This beginner class is here to introduce gesture drawing and how to break down visuals in art. Throughout this course, students will learn how to use minimal lines to imply form using a variety of materials like charcoal, graphite and pen.

STILL LIFE PAINTING CLASS - INSTRUCTOR: MARS DRAKE
Description: A course focusing on basic painting techniques through still life observation, learn how to show texture, color shadow and light in this beginner introduction to painting 3d forms using acrylic paint.

Tuesday Treasure Makers Arts & Crafts Club
Join us for a magical after-school arts and crafts experience where creativity comes alive through stories, songs, games, and hands-on projects! Each week, children will explore a new imaginative theme while creating art work and making new friends!

At the last session from 4:30-5:00 pm there will be a special Art Show and Reception where each child will proudly display their artwork! They will then get to gather and take home their pieces in a special, hand-made bag as a keepsake.
