Krav Maga ADULTS
Learn to defend yourself and get a good workout at the same time! Krav Maga is a hand-to-hand combat defense system developed by the Israeli military. This martial art focuses on principles that anyone, no matter what their ability, can use to defend themselves in any situation. You will learn several strikes such as a straight punch, groin kick, front kicks, etc. Also, you will learn the techniques and psychology of defending yourself against chokes, kidnappers, knives, etc. This course is perfect for anyone ages 13 years and older who wants to learn how to defend themselves in a safe and fun environment. No previous experience is required, and boxing or MMA gloves are required.
KRAV MAGA - WEAPON DEFENSE
Krav Maga is a hand-to-hand combat defense system designed to be used by anyone. No matter their size or ability. In this weapon defense course, I will teach you how to defend against a weapon when you don't have a weapon of your own. The weapons that we will focus on in this first course will be bat, stick, machete, or similar weapon. I will teach you techniques to minimize damage to yourself and maximize damage to your attacker. I will also focus on the principles of these techniques, which I believe to be the most important part of a self-defense class because you'll be able to apply them to many situations. This new weapon defense class is the perfect class to pair with our regular Krav Maga class on Monday to get double training in a week. However, my courses are completely separate, and do not need to take one in order to take the other.
There is no equipment required for this class.
Krav Maga Halloween Seminar
Halloween is usually a time full of monsters and ghouls, but when you know how to defend yourself, it gets a lot less frightening. Come to a one time Krav Maga self-defense class that will focus on learning how to defend against those classic horror movie attacks like being choked with a phone cord, stabbed by a masked man, getting your head dunked into a bucket of water, or surprised with a bag over your head. It may sound intimidating, but for those who find their courage to sign up, you will be surprised at how simple these techniques can be. I make sure to create a safe and fun environment to learn about some scary topics, and help you leave class feeling more confident in yourself.
