COMIC CRASH COURSE
This is a course on drawing comics from start to finish! We will go over the basics of how to write and draw your own comics. You will be taught elements of writing and drawing for comics and will learn to ink your own comic using an ink dip pen just like a professional! By the end of the course everyone will have a black and white inked 1-2 page comic with their choice of subject matter. Great for creative people looking for a way to improve their storytelling through art.

COMIC BOOK 2.0: CREATE YOUR OWN MINI COMIC
Ready to level up your comic-making skills, or jump in for the first time? Comic Book 2.0 builds on everything we learned in the first session, but it’s also totally beginner-friendly. Whether you’re returning or starting fresh, you’ll learn how to take a comic from idea to finished inked pages. In this course, we’ll explore the essentials of writing and drawing comics: scripting, thumbnails, panel layouts,speech bubbles, penciling, and inking with a real dip pen, just like the pros. We’ll also dive deeper into world-building, backgrounds, and creating your own mini-comic or zine booklet. By the end of the session, every participant will complete a black-and-white, inked 1–2 page comic featuring the story of their choice.
