This beginner class is here to introduce gesture drawing and how to break down visuals in art. Throughout this course, students will learn how to use minimal lines to imply form using a variety of materials like charcoal, graphite and pen. Class 1: Form and graphite Class 2: Pen and line weight Class 3: Charcoal and shadowSTILL LIFE PAINTING CLASS -Description: A course focusing on basic painting techniques through still life observation, learn how to show texture, color shadow and light in this beginner introduction to painting 3d forms using acrylic paint. Join Us for a Beginner-Friendly Hand Knitting Workshop!Come learn the art of hand knitting while creating your very own chunky knit throw blanket! In just a few hours, you’ll go from yarn in hand to a beautiful, cozy blanket you can be proud of. No experience needed – perfect for beginners! Come solo or bring friends – a fun, creative outing! For ages 12 & upYou’ll be amazed at how simple and relaxing it is once you get started.                 Yarn Options                                                                   Blanket Making: Standard blanket size requires 5 skeins. You may also add more skeins for a larger blanket, which will be available for purchase at the event. Please note: final blanket size will vary based on your personal knitting gauge (tight knit = smaller blanket, loose knit = larger blanket). Pillow Poufs:  Join us for a hands-on workshop led by an experienced instructor from the Cozy Company.  During this 2-hour class, you'll be guided step-by-step as you hand-knit your own cozy pillow pour--NO TOOLS REQUIRED!! All materials are included.  At the event you will choose from six beautiful colors. Spa Blue, Orchid, Light Grey, Ballet Pink, Ivory, or Sage. Our premium jumbo chenille yard is made from 100% polyester.  Designed to be soft, durable and easy to care for. Your finished pillow will be machine washable and dryable.  At the end of the workshop, you''ll leave with your completed chunky knit pillow pouf handmade by you.                         Things to Know Space: Larger blankets may take up more table space. You’re welcome to bring a small pillow or yoga mat if you’d like to sit on the floor as your blanket grows. Carry Home: Bags are not provided.
