Winter VisitorJoin us for a relaxing watercolor class focused on painting a beloved winter favorite — a bright red cardinal perched on a white birch branch. Cardinals hold special meaning for many people and are often seen as symbols of warmth, love, and connection, making this a meaningful and enjoyable subject to paint.This class is beginner-friendly, though all experience levels are welcome. While the finished painting looks detailed, the project is broken down into approachable, step-by-step instruction so participants can feel confident and supported throughout the process. The focus is on enjoying the experience while learning essential watercolor skills. Participants will explore wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques, learn how to create depth and soft shadows using underlying colors, and add simple details to bring the cardinal to life. The class is paced to allow time for questions and individual guidance as needed. Each participant will leave with a completed 6x9 watercolor painting. All materials are included, including the drawing already prepared on the paper. MAGNOLIA FLOWERWe will paint this beautiful 6x9 magnolia flower.  I will walk you through basic techniques of washes, layering and adding ink to bring your artwork to life. No experience needed.A BEE'S PARADISEA fun and easy line & wash watercolor class.  We will create a 5x7 painting of a tall purple flower cluster with a bee, using simple inked outlines and soft watercolor washes. We will focus on transferring an image onto paper, layering delicate washes of color, and incorporating wet-on-wet techniques to bring the flowers to life.  This is my easiest class yet perfect for beginners or anyone looking for a fun, stress-free creative experience.MONARCH BUTTERFLYLooking to enjoy beiing creative again or simply want to make something beautiful?  This 2-hour beginner-friendly class is the perfect way to un-wind and explore your artistic side.  We'll be painting a vibrant Monarch butterfly and purple coneflower using watercolor and ink.  You'll get to practice wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques, experiment with color mixing, and learn how to create harmony within your piece.  You'll leave with a finished 5x7 painting to be proud of.INSTRUCTOR:  Karen Campagna

Join Us for a Beginner-Friendly Hand Knitting Workshop!Come learn the art of hand knitting while creating your very own chunky knit throw blanket! In just a few hours, you’ll go from yarn in hand to a beautiful, cozy blanket you can be proud of. No experience needed – perfect for beginners! Come solo or bring friends – a fun, creative outing! For ages 12 & upYou’ll be amazed at how simple and relaxing it is once you get started.                 Yarn Options                                                                   ·         Blanket Making: Standard blanket size requires 5 skeins. You may also add more skeins for a larger blanket, which will be available for purchase at the event. Please note: final blanket size will vary based on your personal knitting gauge (tight knit = smaller blanket, loose knit = larger blanket). Things to Know Space: Larger blankets may take up more table space. You’re welcome to bring a small pillow or yoga mat if you’d like to sit on the floor as your blanket grows. Carry Home: Bags are not provided. Please bring a large tote if you’d like to carry your blanket and extra yarn home. Color Requests: We’ll do our best to honor preferences, but all colors are subject to availability.
